The front end of the PJ-01 is in effect a nose, the first distinctive character of a Formula. This was made possible by extreme engineering solutions. Starting with the design of the chassis, passing through the driving position and arriving at the different housing of certain components, everything has been studied in function of aerodynamic flows. And the result is obvious.
In the PJ-01 every element is thought of as a whole. From the mirror to the fin to each appendage, everything has a dual task, everything has an aerodynamic implication. The flows are combed, cleaned and then directed, without loss of downforce.
The flows, well directed at the front, find their natural completion at the rear. The light and compact gearbox leaves plenty of space for the desired shapes. The aerodynamic load is so high that nothing else is needed.
Making such a high-performance car requires the collaboration of important partners who, in addition to being benchmarks in the automotive industry, are true masters.
